Allyship Workshop

After introducing some of the more basic concepts related to power and privilege, social identity, bias, and cultural humility, we explore the idea of allyship and broaden the scope of who traditionally feels they can be an ally.

Developing Your D&I Narrative

Some of our most powerful work with leaders is tapping into the “why” behind diversity and inclusion. As leaders share their own D&I insights through storytelling inside and outside of their organizations, they are better equipped to inspire others towards culture shift.

Deep Dives

We have worked with a number of groups across the spectrum of background knowledge and recognize that there are often those within an organization that are ready to go deeper or focus in on a specific topic area. Our organization and our affiliates share a wide range of expertise in a variety of D&I topics including but not limited to systemic racism, implicit bias, transgender equality, stereotype threat, etc.

Inclusive Mindset

In the consulting, training and educational work we do, the notion of conducting diversity training is sometimes met with audible groans of fear and dread. The Inclusive Mindset training is our direct response to that, where we assert that everybody is valuable to the conversation through the use of experiential activities that bring everyone’s assets to the table.

Curriculum Development

Allyship Academy – As we worked with a client whose objective was to activate allyship among all 15,000 employees, we developed an Allyship Academy within which we trained D&I champions, regardless of their role in the company, to go back to their local office and hold monthly conversations with their colleagues. In this example, we developed facilitation guides for each circle leader as well as decks and video to support their sessions. The Allyship Academy is now one of the most sought-after experiences within the company and the train the trainers model created makes scaling the program year after year a global reality.

Specific

We have done significant work with companies interested in focusing on job function related D&I training and is always customized based on input from stakeholders. For example, we recently trained every HR business partner in LinkedIn’s global organization, providing a local two-day workshop and follow up support for HRBPs in the NAMER, APAC, and EMEA/LATAM regions. This training was not only directly correlated to the job function of HRBP within the context of LinkedIn, but it was also informed by extensive focus groups to ensure cultural relevance.

Inclusive Leadership

Messaging from leadership is absolutely critical in creating a culture shift within the organization. We have provided training and facilitated conversations with leadership from dozens of organizations with content ranging from developing a robust D&I strategy to building a team through inclusive leadership to inclusive communication as a leader.

ERG Training and Support

The orientation of this workshop is one that builds on the inherent resiliency of individuals that participate in company ERGs. While focusing on strategies for healthy engagement and empowerment, participants will identify ways to balance advocacy with self-care and to create safe spaces that are also sites for bravery in communication.

Thought partnership

In the same way that smart companies are constantly innovating on ways to ensure they are being efficient and creative, thoughtful D&I leaders are constantly innovating on ways to support and retain diverse talent and advancing the integration of inclusion into the business model. We provide thought partnership to D&I leadership looking to invent or reinvent a strategy, troubleshoot an issue, or simply learn more about a specific area within the field.

We provide coaching to C-level executives regarding broader organizational values, structure, and culture rooted in an inclusive mindset.
