Optional AddOn

Customized Scenario Practice Sessions

Inclusion Academy Live (beta) subscribers have the option to add on customized, exclusive scenario practice sessions to deepen the work we do in our live classes with practical applications in your day-to-day roles.
We gather real scenarios from stakeholders in your organization and from other participants and use them as a basis for skills practice and discussion. These sessions are a great follow up to our course modules and provide an opportunity to reinforce and reconnect the learning to practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a certificate of completion?

We can absolutely provide attendees with a certificate upon completing a course with us. That said, we generally don’t. We feel this work is similar to creativity, excellence or personal growth. One would never say “we’re excellent now, we can stop!” While we do love the feeling of accomplishment gained from completing a workshop with us, the reality is this work is continuous.

Are there concrete actions presented during the workshops?

One of our operational principles is “actionable” which means we will provide you with specific actions that may be used the moment you leave one of our workshops. We also provide an Action Guide to accompany each one of our IAL workshops so that you can keep track of the tools we offer and the personal commitments you made to move forward on your DEI journey.

HOW DO WE KEEP THE LEARNING ALIVE AFTER THE CONTENT HAS BEEN DELIVERED?

Sustainability is very important to us. We know from years of experience that making a real impact in this work depends a lot on keeping the learning front and center, 4 weeks later, 8 weeks later, and 12 weeks later. And ultimately until you are creating new habits and reinforcing a new culture on your team. To this end, we send out new sustainability guides every month for three months with reminders about the commitments made during the session, personal and team activities, great articles to read and other content to engage in to keep the learning alive and up to date.

HOW IS INCLUSION ACADEMY LIVE (beta) DIFFERENT FROM YOUR OTHER OFFERINGS?

Inclusion Academy Live is a subscription-based membership for your employees which provides access to a variety of live interactive classes on a regularly scheduled rotation.

WHO WILL BE INCLUDED IN EACH SESSION?

Each session will be led by our experienced facilitators. Attendees will be a mix of employees from our subscribed companies, allowing for honest conversations both with colleagues and with those who have an outside perspective.

FOR THE CUSTOMIZED SCENARIO PRACTICE SESSIONS, IS THERE AN ATTENDEE CAP?

For the sake of inclusion, yes there is certainly a “sweet spot” when it comes to these highly-interactive and experiential sessions. We do find that with a higher number of participants, those who are less extroverted are less likely to participate fully. Additionally, logistically and with time constraints, a smaller group is more beneficial.

WHAT IF OUR ATTENDEES HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS AFTER A SESSION REGARDING THE CONTENT?

Since our workshops are live, we always reserve time for Q&A prior to the close of each session. Attendees are also welcome to ask lingering questions in the next session they attend.
