Diversity is a fact. Inclusion is a practice.
You don’t have to be a DEI expert to develop the skills that promote belonging and equity in your organization. What you have to do is make a commitment to ongoing learning and meaningful action.

Deep Dive: Microaggressions
Microaggressions can be painful and undermine your workplace relationships. They can also be confusing to identify and understand.
When is the appropriate time to speak up? How do you avoid becoming defensive? What if you aren’t sure that it is a microaggression? Or, if you realize that you have made a mistake, how do you keep from being paralyzed by guilt?
Through actual practice and experiential learning, you will learn how to respond to real-world scenarios and increase your confidence during traditionally uncomfortable conversations when you experience, witness or even commit a microaggression.
Deep Dive: Unconscious Bias
The research is clear – bias is everywhere.
Unfortunately, the stigma attached to the word can make it more difficult to accept that all of us human beings have unconscious bias. It’s how our brains operate.
When we lack awareness of how they can distort reality, however, our unconscious biases can undermine trust and make our teams less effective.
This interactive training will explore the common forms of bias and where they may show up in the workplace. It will also offer some practical tools on how to reduce their impact and promote a healthy environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
Deep Dive: Inclusive Communication
Afraid of saying the wrong thing? Walking on eggshells when it comes to diversity topics?
Inclusive messaging can be challenging, even for highly skilled communicators.
This course equips you with a deeper understanding of key D&I principles related to different social identities, such as the purpose and impact of using gender pronouns or people-first language, helping you become more confident that your communication is promoting a sense of respect and belonging in the workplace.

Our experience has demonstrated that the most impactful DIBE+ training moves beyond conceptual ideas, however useful, and into practical applications in one’s day-to-day role.
The scenario practice breakouts inside our workshops are one of our most popular activities. Whether learning to respond with cultural humility or interrupting bias in performance reviews, many of our participants are eager for more practice.
When you choose to add on Customized Scenario Practices for your teams, we gather real-world scenarios from stakeholders in your organization and from workshop participants themselves through short pre-surveys. We then use them as a basis for skills practice and discussion in private sessions attended exclusively by members of your organization.
These sessions are a great follow up to our other trainings and provide an opportunity to reinforce and reconnect the learning to practice.
